Toru Tsuchie, a wagashi master based in Izumo who has expanded his activities globally.
Having cultivated a close relationship with automobiles distinctive to regional cities, he attempted in this work to express MODELLISTA's aesthetic vision through Japanese design while utilizing the traditional techniques and designs unique to wagashi.
With experience in the world of customization, including once changing mufflers and suspensions himself, he drew inspiration from wheels—symbolic elements of vehicles—and the brand logo colors for this creation.
Looking ahead, he expresses his desire to develop activities that convey the charm of wagashi to an even wider audience.

Wheel
MODELLISTA's wheels create diverse expressions ranging from sporty to luxurious.
As crucial elements that enhance vehicles and express their individual character, they stimulated the creative drive of Tsuchie, a wagashi master.
The existence of wheels that harmonize intricate design with practicality resonates with the wagashi worldview of expressing seasonal beauty and flavor, opening doors to new creative possibilities.
