Hiroshi Nagai, an illustrator known for his tropical and clear illustration style.
With past experience as a manual transmission car enthusiast, his deep connection with automobiles lives on as an important element in his creative work—including memories of drives during his time living in Yokohama, encounters through cars, and experiences of improved driving stability after installing custom parts.
For this piece, he drew inspiration from MODELLISTA's refined body lines and wheel details. Imagining West Coast scenery and capturing the vehicle from behind, he achieves a fluid expression.
Positioned as one of the culminations of his client work, he says this piece achieved a satisfying finish because he approached it with free-thinking creativity. He continues to explore new creative developments, primarily through exhibitions.

MODELLISTA has further enhanced the RX—with its silhouette suggesting dynamic and powerful performance—under the theme "Glamorous and Keen," creating an even more splendid presence.
Nagai showed deep interest in the multilayered sculptural beauty of the body kit and wheels, strongly resonating with their free-thinking creativity and craftsmanship.
